Conference Venue

The Conference venue is located at the Cheung Kung Hai Conference Centre at 21 Sassoon Road, Pokfulam.

Shuttle buses will be provided from the Conference hotel to the Conference venue before and after Conference times.

Outside of these shuttle buses, the venue is also accessible by public buses, mini buses, taxi and Uber.

From the Conference hotel, you can walk across the road and enter the HKU MTR station at Exit B. Walk through the MTR station and exit at Exit C2. Walk to your right as you exit and cross the road. You will see a bus stop where you can wait for the below options:

• Mini bus 8X – this is a van with a green rooftop. The ride will be approximately 10 minutes. A note of caution: mini buses in Hong Kong do not necessarily have defined stops. Some bus stops will have a sign for them, but mini buses also often stop to drop off and pick up passengers at places where there is no defined bus stop. If you choose this option, please enter 5 Sassoon Road into Google Maps and only press the bell to alight after you have passed this stop (but press it quickly as 21 Sassoon Road comes up quickly!).
  
  
• Buses 4, 7, 40, 91 and 970X – these are big, double decker, yellow buses. You should alight at Queen Mary Hospital, Pok Fu Lam Road. Once you alight, cross the main road you see in front of you via the footbridge and follow Sassoon Road down. The Conference venue is on your right as you near the end of this short road. This will be a 5-10 minute walk downhill.

Taxis are plentiful in Hong Kong and you should be able to hail a red taxi outside the Conference hotel easily.

Hong Kong also uses Uber and you can download this app onto your phone. In Hong Kong, Uber will give you the option of booking a taxi as well.
