International Arrivals by Train
Hong Kong is connected by High Speed Rail to many parts of Mainland China and by MTR to Lo Wu (Shenzhen) station.
The High Speed Rail arrives at the West Kowloon High Speed Rail Station. This station is directly connected to the Austin MTR station.
Below are some suggestions of how to reach the Conference hotel from the West Kowloon High Speed Rail Station and Lo Wu MTR station.
Arriving by High Speed Rail - Walking and MTR from Kowloon station
On arriving in Hong Kong, follow the signs and walk undercover to the connecting Kowloon station. This will take 10-15 minutes. At Kowloon station, take the MTR Tung Chung (orange) line towards Hong Kong and alight at Hong Kong station (one stop). From Hong Kong station, delegates walk the 7-10 minute underground connection to the MTR Island (blue) line in Central Station. Delegates then take the Island (blue) line towards Kennedy Town and alight at HKU station. The official Conference hotel is directly opposite Exit B2 of HKU Station.
Arriving by High Speed Rail - by taxi
There is a taxi rank outside the West Kowloon High Speed Rail station. Delegates should seek out the red taxis going to Hong Kong Island.
Arriving by MTR from Lo Wu station (Shenzhen)
Delegates take the MTR East Rail line (light blue) to Admiralty (13 stops). From Admiralty, change to the MTR Island line (blue) towards Kennedy Town and alight at HKU station. The official Conference hotel is directly opposite Exit B2 of HKU Station.
Arriving by MTR from Lo Wu station - by taxi
There is a taxi rank outside Lo Wu station. Delegates should seek out the red taxis going to Hong Kong Island.
However, we would suggest that use of the MTR is the preferred option.
